Cart-shed and work rooms. c1830 with later additions and alterations. For
Sir Tatton Sykes, 4th Baronet. Reddish-pink brick in English garden wall
bond with pantile roof. 2 storeys, 3 first-floor openings. Ground floor
has 2 off-centre elliptically arched cart openings with ashlar keystones.
To right end an inserted 2-storey opening with double plank doors. Further
off-centre round-arched opening with plank door and ashlar imposts. Three
4-pane fixed light windows under elliptical arches and with stone sills. To
first floor are 2 similar windows with a plank pitching door between, all
under elliptical arches. Hipped and swept roof. Ashlar ridge tiles.
