Stables. c1830 with later additions. For Sir Tatton Sykes, 4th Baronet.
Reddish-pink brick in English garden wall bond with pantile roof. Single
tall storey, 10 bays. Blind elliptically arched arcade mainly with divided
plank stable doors below fanlights with vertical glazing bars continuing
across the arch. Otherwise bays 2 and 3 have multi-paned windows, bay 1 has
plank door and 4-pane casement. Bay 9 has vertically paned window. Hipped
and swept roof with ashlar ridge tiles. Rear stack.
