Row of Almshouses, rebuilt 1841 to design of James Tacey Wing, incorporating
date plaque of 1634 from original building. Coursed limestone rubble. Old
clay tile roof with stone gable gable coping. Two storey and attics. Five
gabled dormers with stone gable coping. Each dormer has a 2-light mullioned
casement with some retaining leaded lights. Ground floor has five 3-light
casements of the same type, all containing modern plate glass and under drip
mouldings. Doorways retain simple wooden plank doors with surrounds similar
to windows.
