House of C17 or earlier origins, extended piecemeal, with large C19 front
wing. Main wing, early C19. Limestone rubble, hipped slated roof. Two
storeys. Bracketed eaves cornice. Five sash windows at first floor, four at
ground floor, flanking central doorway with pedimented Roman Doric stone
surround. To east and rear are earlier, probably C17 buildings in limestone
rubble with old clay tile roofs. Two storeys. A variety of window types some
with timber lintels; also some blocked openings. West side has lean-to
conservatory, and recessed door under flat hood supported on simple scroll
brackets.
