Vicarage, mid C18, now private house. Brick, now rendered and painted, on
dressed sandstone plinth. Lakeland slate roof, covered with bitumen. Clay
gable copings at right end. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Central doorway with
late C20 door and overlight with glazing bars, in mid/late C19 given
pilaster-and-entablature surround with panelled reveals. Late C20 casements
except for sash with glazing bars at ground-floor right. End stack at left;
external stack with offsets at right. Right return has late C20 inserted
windows and renewed garret lights. Mid and late C19 one-and 2-storey rear
extensions are not of interest. Included for group value.
