Monument, late C19. Polished Shap granite on sandstone base. Tapering
pyramid-topped obelisk on double stepped plinth and square base; overall
height 2.5 metres. On the four faces of the plinth are inscriptions
commemorating Lady Augusta Milbank 1797-1874, Mark Milbank 1795-1881, Mark
W. Vane Milbank 1819-1883 and Mary Milbank 1848-1892.
