House. Late C18-early C19. Squared rubble in narrow courses, graduated
stone-tiled roof and rendered chimney stacks. 2-storey, 3-bay house with
added left bay. Squared quoins. Partly-glazed c.1930-central door and 4-pane
overlight flanked by replaced 16-pane sashes with stuccoed wedge lintels and
projecting stone sills. Blank bay above door flanked by identical 16-pane
sashes set immediately under eaves. Left bay has 12-pane sash, with wedge
lintel and projecting sill, on ground floor and replaced 16-pane sash above.
Roof over 3-bay section has stone-coped gables, shaped kneelers and transverse
end stacks. Added bay has hipped roof. Rear may be slightly older and has
scattered, altered openings including, possibly, a fire window at first floor
right. Interior has room with good 1930's panelling and brick fireplace.
