Public house. C17, rebuilt C19 in 2 builds. Red brick, dentil eaves,
old tile roof. Chimney with grouped shafts, partly of thin brick, to
right of centre; later brick end chimneys. Left gable rendered.
2 storeys, 3 bays. 3-light wooden casements with single horizontal
glazing bars; additional 2-light casements to ground floor of right
bays, the right in blocked door; C20 canted bay window to left. Ground
floor openings have cambered heads. 4-panelled door between left bays,
with C19-C20 wooden cornice hood on brackets. Single storey extension to
left, hipped and gabled brick projections to rear. Interior has chamfered
spine beams; upper storey said to retain some timber framing with angle
braces.
