House. Late C16 wing at right-angles to road, with C17 wing set back
to right. Ground floor rebuilt in flint and whitewashed brick, upper
storey timber-framed with whitewashed brick infill. Old tile roofs.
External chimney of narrow brick to right, another to left is shared
with The Queen's Head. L-plan. 2 storeys. C16 wing is of 3 bays,
with gable to road and 2 bays of fenestration to right side. C17 wing
is of one large bay with 2-bay fenestration. Irregular C20 wooden
casements, canted bay window to right. C20 door in right side of
C16 wing, blocked doorway with small wooden hood to front gable. Interior:
C16 bay has curved braces to tie-beams, diagonal wind-braces, longitudinal floor
joists in centre bay, and blocked 3-light window with heavy
diagonal mullions. C17 wing has stop-chamfered spine beam and joists.
