House, late C18 and early C19 with C20 alterations. Ashlar, stone slate roof.
Late C18 house with parallel range added in 1820s incorporating central staircase
plan. C19 front: 2 storeys, 2 bays. Left-hand entrance has plain surround, c1970
door. Right-hand ground floor and 2 upper floor windows have plain surrounds, 16-
pane sashes; upper floor sill band. Hipped roof, central ridge stack. Late C18
range to left contains 2 storey canted bay. Tripartite window per storey to front,
with flanking 2-light windows with narrower outer lights to both storeys; sashes
and fixed lights. Rainwater head inscribed 1774
