Spiral column re-set as a garden ornament. Probably C17 column on medieval
base. Sandstone. Square-plan, 2-step plinth. Base is a 0.5-metre high
fragment of a cylindrical pier with 4 engaged shafts. Truncated 2.0-metre
high spiral column with flute cut into arris.
