Early C19 gable end to road over C16 building of timber framing with jettied
2 window 1st floor to south. Street front rendered with 2 glazing bar sash
windows, ground floor modern brick with 5 light 'oak' mullion window. Half
hipped old tile roof. South front 1st floor buckled, jetty retains one bracket.
1 extra bay to east. Interior: solid box framing, chamfered cross beams and
exposed joists. Close studding to a partition on 1st floor, one of the roof
ties bracketed. Linked to No 56 by slate roofed bay with passage into courtyard.
