Pair of cottages, now one. Late C18, altered C19 and late C20 when museum
exhibit next door formed. Brick, old plain tile roof. 2 storey and attic,
each cottage of one wide bay, outshot to rear, door and passage of one now
used as exit from museum exhibit in No. 80 (qv). Front has plank doors
near each end. Beside them 2-light casements under segmental arches, and
on 1st floor 2-light casements. 2-light hip-roofed dormers, central ridge
stack abuts taller roofs on both ends. RH door of No.79 now museum exit.
