Lodge, early C19. Whinstone rubble, rendered and whitewashed, with raised
sandstone quoins and dressings; Welsh slate roof. Square plan. 1st floor
sill band. Front elevation (to road) 2 storeys, 2 bays. Boarded door with
4-pane sash to left, 2 12-pane Yorkshire sashes in stone surrounds above. Left
return shows 2 12-pane sashes in alternating-block surrounds, with 12-pane
Yorkshire sashes in stone surrounds above. Right return shows 3 small windows
to each floor; varied glazing in old openings. Pyramidal roof with large square
stepped-and-banded central stack.
