Large detached town house set back from road. Early C19. Ashlar
with parapet in coursed and dressed stone with moulded stone
cornice, slate roof with coped verges, 3 stacks - new stone stack
to left end, ridge and right end stacks with stone base and brick
flue. Long single range of 2 storeys, with rear extension. Six
windows, 12-pane sashes in shallow reveals. Three similar on
ground floor with large projecting open stone porch to right of
centre with 2 Doric columns, unfluted, on bases, 2 pilasters at
back and entablature. Large double half-glazed doors with lower
fielded panels. The original 2 windows on far left now occupied by
later C19 single storey shop projecting forward to pavement line,
with double canted windows of 8 large panes each, central wide
half-glazed door and moulded wooden cornice.
