GV II

House. 1855 for the Foster family. Ashlar with plinth, Welsh slate roof.
Restrained Grecian style.

2 storeys, 3 x 3 bays with lower 3-bay wing to rear forming L-plan. Angle
pilasters.

4 moulded steps up to central 4-panel door in raised unmoulded tripartite
surround with cornice over.

On ground floor, canted bay windows each with 2 moulded steps around them and
cornices over. 1st floor sill band and original 4-pane sashes in architraves.
Moulded cornice and blocking course. Hipped roof with 2 corniced ridge stacks.

Returns have similar windows.

Rear wing has 6-pane sashes in architraves.
