Farmbuilding range and attached walls. C18, with some late C19 alterations.
Squared rubble with cut dressings. Roofs: foldyard east range has pantiles
on centre and Welsh slates on flanking parts; cartshed granary has Welsh
slates on west and C20 asbestos sheets on east; other parts C20 synthetic red
tiles. Plan: foldyard group around yard opening to west; from west end of
south cartshed extends to south, with wall running to east end of Hazon House.
Single-storey east range has taller central section with 2 segmental arches
and raised reverse-stepped coping to gables; side parts each with one boarded
door. North range shows 2 segmental arches with boarded door to left; roof
hipped to left; O.S.B.M. on left return. South range shows boarded door
flanked by part-slatted windows. Yard closed on west by walls with low arched
coping swept down to central gateway. Cartshed has former open arcade with
monolithic piers and timber lintels, now fitted with boarded double doors;
far right 2-storey part with inserted panelled double doors under 12-pane
overlight, and raised reverse-stepped gable copings; right return shows
16-pane Yorkshire sash and part-slatted window under timber lintel above.
Attached 3-metres high wall to left holds boarded door, and has 3 old looped
finials from house on coping.
