Gateway arch. Dated 1746. Two granite monolith posts, square on plan with an
elliptical arch carved from one piece of granite. The arch has bowled moulded
corners and raised inscription carved in upper case sanserif 'John and Ann Hickes
1746'. The arch forms a pedestrian gateway to the front garden of Tolpetherwin
Farmhouse (qv).
