Former smithy. C17 or early C18, altered later C19. Rubble, heightened in
roughly-squared stone; some cut dressings. C20 pantile roof with brick stack.
1 storey + attic, 5 bays. Centre bay has 4 steps up to renewed stable door;
sash windows with short 3-pane upper leaves and plain lower; all ground floor
openings with renewed timber lintels. Far left blocked doorway and far right
small blocked window with timber lintel. Right bay has late C19 raking half
dormer with 3-pane casement in stop-chamfered stone surround. Reduced right
end stack.

Interior shows remains of old hearth against rear wall.
