Detached gatehouse with first floor dovecot and open-fronted store.
C16. Coursed squared and dressed limestone, close-studded timber
framing and weather-boarding. Compact rectangular plan to
gatehouse with side wall open to first floor level to give access
to yard, open-fronted store extending forwards left. Side wall of
first floor dovecot facing yard close-studded with 2-light wood-
mullioned window (now blocked), opposite wall weather boarded.
Plank door at first floor level in right gable end giving access to
dovecot with access via single flight of C20 wooden steps. Three-
bay open-fronted store with hipped roof left. Slightly stepped
gable-end coping with roll-cross saddles to gatehouse. Central
square lantern also with roll-cross saddles.
