Detached farmhouse. Mid C17-early C18 and early-mid C19.
Coursed squared and dressed limestone. Slate roof, C20 ashlar and
C17-early C18 ashlar stacks. 'L'-shaped main body with C17 range
on right of entrance front. C19 main body; 2 storeys and attic
with 2-light roof dormer. Four-bay entrance front. Two 2-storey
canted bays with 12-pane sashes in each face and keystone
surrounds. Central, C19 part-glazed doors set back within
panelled reveal. Twelve-pane sash above. C19 part-glazed
right with marginal glazing bars, boot-scraper to right.
Symmetrical, 3-windowed front facing road. Sixteen-pane sashes
either side of tripartite 16-pane sash to first floor. Sixteen-
pane sashes to ground floor. Double part-glazed doors to ground
floor with rectangular hall light over with glazing bars forming a
geometric pattern. C17 range; two storeys and attic lit by
2-light roof dormers, one double-chamfered 2-light and one 3-light
stone-mullioned casement to ground floor. Garage doors within
segmental-headed opening right. Two-light double-chamfered stone-
mullioned casement upper left. Single row of pigeon holes below
eaves to right. Traces of opening (now blocked) interrupting
row of pigeon holes. Hipped roof to C19 main body. Flat coping
at gable end of C17 range. Gable-end and axial stacks. Interior
not inspected.
