Early C19. Detached house, one of 3 (other 2, Lancaster and Tudor lodges,
now demolished). Red brick with hipped slate roofs. 2 storeys. 2 ranges
of glazing bar sashes to north. 1 window over and 1 to left, latter with glazed
door which has bracketed cornice. Small C20 bay to right on east front. Semi-circular
Ionic porch on east front. Now part of Reading National Spiritualist Church.
