4/135 Conduit, about 7m south-
west of No 14

Conduit. 1897 (datestone). Ashlar masonry; square in plan.
Each face gabled, with raised corners, and diagonal ribs parallel
to 'roof' line, enclosing diamond panel and smaller panels over.
Projecting verge to roof, ridge roll. Head at bottom of diamond
panel on side facing road, with projecting pipe and tap: above
QVDJ 1897. Built to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
Interesting survival of public water supply.
