Detached house. C18 and C19. Brick with a red tile roof and brick
stacks. Rectangular plan to main body with later extensions rear
left, the whole now forming a basically L-shaped plan. Main body;
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-windowed facade. Twin 2-pane sashes to
the ground floor. Twin 8-pane sashes above. Central fielded 6-
panel door with a fanlight. Open triangular pediment supported on
brackets. Twelve-pane sash above. All windows with gauged brick
heads and fluted keystones. Parapet (rebuilt). Late C18-early C19
extension rear left with brick dentils at the eaves. Projecting
stacks at the gable ends of the main body. Subsidiary features;
brick wall and iron railing. C19 (wall possibly C18). Wall clm in
height runs for c30m across the front of the house with a spear-
headed railing. Square gate piers at centre. Interior not
inspected.
