House. Mid C18. Brick walls of header bond, plinth, cambered arches with
stone keys, brick dentil eaves; rear walls of English bond. Tile roof,
slate to the south wing. Rectangular block with a lower narrower wing set
at an angle from the south gable; symmetrical west front elevation of two
storeys five windows. Sashes in reveals. Doric doorcase with triglyphs, 3/4
fluted columns, and tile hood replacing the cornice, arched opening with
decorative fan light, 6-panelled door. The rear elevation has a lower
eaves, symmetrical of two storeys three windows, the centre being raised
(with a taller window of the front pattern) with a gable. Casements,
splayed bay (sashes) at the north side. Doorway with hood on posts. The
south wing (probably of older origin) is a low two storeys, with windows
(casements) and doorways on the east side. Lead fire insurance sign in the
