House formerly forming part of The Priory (q.v.). Probably C18.
Limestone rubble with dressed stone quoins; artificial stone-slate
roof. 'L'-shaped plan. C20 single-storey porch extension, not of
special interest. Two storeys and attic. Entrance front with
gable to the right. C20 four-light stone-mullioned casement with
stopped hood to the ground floor of the range at right angles;
similar casement and a 2-light casement with stopped hoods to the
first floor. Two 2-light dormers lit by steel casements. Left
gable end formerly lit by a sash window with a dressed stone
surround at first floor level. Glass door to the forward facing
gable end. C20 stone-mullioned casements with flat-chamfered and
ovolo-moulded mullions to the right-hand return; plain dressed
stone surround to sash window of which only the upper part survives
upper right. Interior not inspected.
