Bridge over road. built mid 1860s by P.C. Hardwick for Sir F.H.
Goldsmid. Ashlar with some vermiculated rustication; cast iron
girder bridge. Pilasters with horizontal vermiculated rustication,
similar rustication to the sides of the bridge abutments where they
face the road; single blind round-headed arches with keystones
with carved lion's head face the road on each side with band at
impost level; segmental panel with the Goldsmid monogram
intertwined with flowers and ribbons set at the top of each
archway. Solid ashlar parapet to the bridge abutments; cast iron
railing base on the arabesque motif.
