Pair of lodges now a single house. Mid C19. Squared stone with slate roof. l 1/2
storeys, 3 wide bays, symmetrical. Central bay set forward with 3-light window
and single-light window above, gable with plain bargeboards. Flanking porches
have small single-light windows and Tudor-arched doorways in gabled returns;
right porch has C20 door, left now blocked with window inserted. End bays have
2-light windows. 2 brick ridge stacks on stone bases. Left return shows 2-light
window and single-light window above, right return similar. All windows have
iron glazing bars with small lozenge-shaped panes at intersections; all openings,
except for small porch windows, have raised stone surrounds and chamfered reveals;
hollow-chamfered hoodmoulds to large windows. C20 extensions to rear not of
interest.
