Barn dated and initialled 'F.W. 1793' on stone plaque towards apex
of porch gable. Limestone rubble, dressed stone quoins. Stone
slate roof, red Roman tile roof to open-fronted store. Barn plan;
central projecting porch on south side with lean-tos either side,
shallow porch in wall opposite with lean-to projecting forwards
right. 'L'-shaped open-fronted store runs away south from the
latter. Projecting 2-storey gabled porch on south side of barn.
Double plank doors, 2-light stone-mullioned casement to first
floor. C20 stable doors to lean-tos either side. Ventilation
slits in gable ends, pitching window in left gable end. Porch with
projecting cheeks and lean-to roof on north. Flat coping at gable
ends. Single storey, open-fronted store left, bays divided by
stone monoliths with flat-chamfered corners, some bays now enclosed
with concrete block walls. Interior of barn; 4 bays with original
collar and tie beam trusses.
