Detached house. Late C17-mid C18 and C20. Roughly coursed,
squared and dressed limestone, concrete tile roof, C20 stone
stacks. Rectangular main body with slightly lower extension at
right gable end. C20 lean-to extension at right gable end. Small
extension (probably C20 but built with reused stone, parallel to
main body at rear). C20 lean-to and flat-roofed extension at left
gable end, not of special interest. Small gabled overhanging wing
supported by columns mentioned in previous description no longer
extant. Main body; two storeys and attic with C20 raking roof
dormer. Two-windowed facade, ground and first floor lit by 2 and 3-
light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with stopped
hoods. Single light with stone surround to right of right-hand
window. Central part-glazed C19 door within flat-chamfered Tudor-
arched surround. Single bay extension right of and probably almost
contemporary with early core; 1 1/2 storeys with 2-light stone-
mullioned Cotswold dormer with hood to upper floor, similar 2-light
casement with hood to ground floor. Most casements with horizontal
glazing bars. Left-hand light of dormer with leaded panes. Reused
'Tudor'-arched stone-mullioned casements with carved spandrels in
rear wall of main body and extension at rear of main body. Steeply
pitched roof with gable end stacks.
