Large detached house. Late C18 or early C19. Coursed rubble stone
with quoins, moulded cornice and blocking course, stone slate roof
on outer pitches, slate on inner pitches, ashlar end stacks with
offsets and some with domical caps. Double main range with set
back side wings and rear cross range to right-hand wing, 2 storeys.
Three windows, 12-pane sashes with large flush stone lintels, plat
band below. Ground floor has triple sashes of 4/12/4 panes
flanking central stone doorcase with door of 6 flush panels and
radial fanlight. Projecting stone porch with 2 Doric columns on
bases with moulded entablature and flat roof. Side wings have 16-
pane sash on ground floor, 12-pane above.
Interior not accessible but internal shutters remaining at most
windows.
