GV II

Tall Go thick style monument to Catherine Best, widow of John
Rycroft Best, youngest daughter of Richard Count de Vins, died
1855, and other members of that family. Limestone with large
bronze plaque. Pedestal with inscripton on the east and north
sides; tall rectangular column above with pointed-arched recess
containing a bronze plaque depicting a life-size figure of an angel
in relief; the angel holds a cloth on which there is a further
inscription; cross finial at the apex; corner pinnacles now lost.
The monument lies within a rectangular enclosure with a spear-
headed railing.
