Farmhouse, early C17. Much altered and sub-divided C20. Brick, partly white-
washed. Steep reed-thatched roof with later pantiled wing to west not of
special interest. Two storeys and attic, L-shaped plan. Elevation to south
: 3 window range, widely spaced casements, all C20 replacements. Off-centre
doorway with later lean-to porch. Corner pilasters with moulded brick tops.
Parapeted gables with tumbling in. Massive chimney stack at western gable
of thatched range. Small off centre axial stack. Openings on north and east
sides much altered; one C19 three light casement survives in east wall, all
other windows now C20. Brickwork of east wall may replace timber frame between
gable returns. North gable has platband and moulded brick eaves oversailing
courses. Internal gable chimney. Later chimney on east side.
