Parish church. Mainly C14, tower possibly earlier. Flint with limestone
dressings. Slate roof over nave, chancel, south porch. Unbuttressed west
tower with 2-light bell openings with restored cusped tracery. 2-light
Decorated west window. On the south side, a small double-opening under a
square label-mould. Embattled parapet with corner pinnacles. Two 2-light
Perpendicular windows divided by a staged buttress in south wall of nave.
Arches over window openings formed in alternate brick and flint voussoirs.
South wall of chancel has two 2-light windows with 'Y' tracery; priest's door
with plain hood mould stops. Three-light Perpendicular east window, chancel
east wall much rebuilt in brick with tie irons in the form of letters 'E G'.
3-light Perpendicular north nave window. Many stone lined putlog holes in
walls of nave and chancel. Collarless arch-braced nave roof with hollow
chamfered principals and ridge. Ashlar pieces and wall posts with moulded
cornice. Modern plastered ceiling in chancel. Wall painting depicting
St. Christopher on north wall of nave. Plain octagonal font on eight pilasters
and central stem. Blocked north doorway. C17 turned baluster communion rail.
C15 benches in chancel with poppy-head ends and figure carving on arm rests.
Ogee-headed piscina in south east corner of chancel.
