Farmhouse: C17, extended C19. Brick-nogged timber-framing on
random-rubble stone plinth; brick rear wing: tiled roof. 3-bay
main section, 1 room deep, 2 storeys, with later rear wings: 2-bay
extension left end. Front: mid to late C19 gabled single-storey
brick porch, cambered head to opening, narrow windows sides. High
plinth to house: to right at end framing 4 panel high, otherwise
3. Three-light mullion window, leaded-lights, to right of porch,
late C19 tripartite sash to left, 2-pane sashes centre. Beyond
canted oriel, sash windows, over sloping trap door to chute to
cellar. Flat top to oriel extended to left over blocked door
opening. First floor, brace from corner post down to rail at top;
3-light mullioned window, leaded lights. To left porch framing
missing to 2 panels; small, sash window, sashes 1-pane high.
Similar tripartite sash over oriel window. Chimney on ridge
between upper sash windows, hipped end of roof to rear wing on left
over ridge. Lower wing on left cider house, possibly granary
over; sill one panel below that in house: shuttered window,
boarded door.
Internally cider press intact; access to loft up steps at back,
partly in dormer. Boarded doors inside original part of house,
beads to joints; oven to left of fireplace in centre room: cellar
under left-hand room and rear wing only.
