Detached house. c1820. Ashlar limestone, stone slate roof. Main compact
symmetrical unit with rear extension forming a 'T'. Two-and-a-half storeys, 3
windows, all sashes without bars, at first floor in plat-band architraves under
blind lunettes to keystone at eaves; central unit is Palladian window with 4
pilasters, the central pair reeded and bases of pilasters on flared bases
between a cill band and string. Central 4-panel door under fine fanlight in
wrought iron porch to scalloped arched head and with one semicircular step.
Plinth, string, and cill band; the string returns to gable to street which has a
2-light chamfered mullion casement to attic. Gable stacks. Rear wing with
stone slate roof has C20 aluminium windows. Extension left of main block not of
special interest. Interior not inspected.
