Farmhouse. Late C18, extended early C19, later alterations. Coursed,
dressed sandstone, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 1:3 bays; left bay of later.
date marked by straight joint and shallower plan. Wallstone plinth and a
2-storey round-arched panel to each bay. Ground floor: bay 3 has external
stone steps to a C19 doorway with panelled door and fanlight in architrave
with carved keystone; bay 4 has a 16-pane sash beneath 1intel tooled as
voussoirs; bays 1 and 2 with C20 insertions of French window and large bowed
casement. 1st-floor band at impost of arches beneath C20 casements to bay 1
and 2 and old horizontal-sliding sashes with glazing bars to bays 3 and 4.
Shaped stone gutter brackets to eaves of hipped roof. Ashlar end stacks and
ridge stack on left of bay 2. Attached outbuildings on right return not of
special interest.
