House: three bay symmetrical facade. Central doorway with plain surround and raised keystone inscribed "R/J A/1729"
Cross-window, at intermediate level, above. Band between floors. Three-light flat-faced mullion windows except ground-floor right which has been replaced by two four-pane sashes in plain surrounds. Gable-copings on moulded kneelers; ornamental, ashlar end stacks. The cottage to right is slightly set back and has a slender, lower bay to left with the doorway and a wider gabled bay to right with three-light windows to ground and first floors and a blocked two-light window in gable apex, all with square surrounds but recessed chamfered mullions. Later and altered additions to left return and rear of house.
