Farmhouse and attached cowhouse. 2nd half C18 for Charles Turner;
added to and altered. Coursed squared herringbone-tooled stone;
pantile roofs with stone kneelers, copings and ridges; stone stacks,
one rebuilt in white brick. 2-storey house of 2:1 bays; 2-bay
cowhouse with loft over. Garden elevation: house: right bay set
back, and on its right a side outshut with board door; blocked
doorway to left bay; 2-light 8-pane side-sliding sash windows with
projecting sills and on ground floor of main range lintels with
tall raised keystones; eaves band; block kneelers; stacks at ends
of main range, right one of brick. Cowhouse on left, lower and set
back: board stable door on right; slit vents; eaves band; block
kneelers. Rear: house: door into side outshut; left bay has later
door in C20 pent porch and later 4-pane window over; right bays
have blocked doorway and various inserted windows. Cowhouse has
stable door and slit vents.
