House. Late C18 with late C19 alterations. Pale brown local brick with red brick bands at floor levels; and quoins. C19 wooden modillion eaves cornice. Lakeland slate roof with stone coping and kneelers. End brick chimneys. 3 storeys, 3 bays. 3 stone steps to central entrance. Late C19 doorcase of reeded pilasters and brackets, small flat hood. 6-panel door with oblong fanlight. Late C19 canted bays to either side in white brick with modillion cornices and shallow segmental sash windows with margin lights. Above, sash windows with glazing bars in flush wood architraves with painted lintels and cills. Blocked central 2nd floor opening.
