Row of 5 cottages. For the Kepwick Hall estate. Early-mid C19. Coursed
squared stone, Welsh slate roof. Single storey, each cottage 2 bays, continuous
rear outshut. Plinth, herringbone-tooled quoins. Each cottage has steps up to
a board door in flush wooden architrave set to left of centre and flanked by
short 8-pane sashes, all openings under herringbone-tooled ashlar lintels, the
windows with projecting cills. Eaves band. Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping.
6 Corniced stacks, to ends and to ridge above party walls.
