Mill house and attached watermill. C17 with C18 and early C19 alterations. Red
brick and ashlar, with pantile roofs and 3 brick stacks. V plan with mill
occupying north-east range. Recessed central block has a central doorway with
6-panel door and to the right a C20 garage door, to the left a 3-light cross
casement and above a 2-light sliding sash. Projecting wing to left has 3-light
casement on the ground floor and a 2-light sliding sash.above. To the north-
east the mill, with ashlar ground floor topped by a moulded band with brickwork
above and ashlar coped gables with kneelers. South-east front has a single
light window in double chamfered surround, to the left a later doorway, with a
chamfered doorway above. In the gable an attic opening. The north east front
has another chamfered doorway and a single light double chamfered window with
above 3 small shuttered loft openings. Interior contains a C19 wood and iron
water wheel.
