House, late C17. Roughly-coursed sandstone rubble with brick dressings;
pantiled roof with old brick chimney. 2 storeys, very irregular. Probably part
of a longhouse or house of hearth-passage plan whose lower end has been rebuilt
as No 26, while the inner parlour has been incorporated in No 22, whose entrance
is in the wall of No 24 at left. Boarded door; fixed-light fire window at
right, 3-light casement under gauged-brick flat arch at left; one Yorkshire
south on first floor. Stepped and cogged brick eaves cornice. Right end
chimney.
