Barn. Mid C18. Coursed squared gritstone, graduated stone slate roof.
4 bays with original aisle to bays 3 and 4. Quoins. Cart entrance with
double doors, quoined jambs and wooden lintel, bay 2; byre or stable
entrance into outshut of aisle, bay 4; the quoins of right jamb tied into
barn corner. Lean-to addition bay 1 not of special interest. Right return:
square mucking-out door centre main gable; 4-pane window lights aisle.
Putlog or vent holes in 3 rows, some blocked. Shaped kneelers, gable
copings. Interior: 3 queen-strut trusses with diagonal braces; that between
bays 3 and 4 carried on an aisle post with straight braces.
