House and attached outbuildings. Mid - late C17 with late C18 or early C19
alterations. Coursed squared gritstone, graduated stone slate roof.
2 storeys, 3 bays, that to right incorporated from the farmbuildings.
Quoins. Central C20 glazed door in sawn-stone surround; 16-pane sash in
sawn-stone surround to left, similar paired sashes to right. Jamb stones of
C17 windows to sides. Quoined doorcase with C20 glazed door beyond quoins
to far right. First floor: 3 paired 6-pane casements in plain surrounds
that to far right much larger. 2 blocked small rectangular windows of mid -
late C17 type to centre and right. Shaped kneeler and gable coping to left,
end banded stacks. Rear: a central stair window with 2 transoms with a
2-light recessed chamfered mullion window to right. Interior: possibly C17
ceiling beams to principal rooms. Attached farmbuildings range to right not
of special interest.
