Gate piers, walls, piers and railings Early C19 with C19 restoration.
Ashlar walls, gritstone copings, gate Piers and caps, cast-iron railings.
Gate piers approximately 2.5 metres high with recessed panels, deep cornice
and eagle. Curved flanking walls: of 3 courses of stone with piers at
regular intervals, approximately 25 metres long, that to left continuing to
enclose the Lodge House (qv). The piers have a cornice and flat capstone
and are linked by railings fastened to the wall coping. The railings are
composed of short standards with ball finials linked by 2 plain rails.
