II
1822 rebuild of medieval church. Coursed sandstone. Low pitched graduated lakeland
slate roof. Gothic style. Nave and chancel each of two bays. Battlemented small
west tower of two stages. Simple paired. lancets under square dripmoulds. Single
similar bell openings in tower. Reticulated head to East window, and pointed
dripmould. Diagonal buttresses to corners. North wall mediaeval masonry with one C14
window of paired cusped ogee-headed lights.
