Opened 1906. By architect JG Burrell. Ground floor ashlar. First floor red brick. Slate mansard roof. Two storeys and attics. Heavy wooden modillioned eaves cornice. Moulded band above ground floor, with large sculpted bosses along it. Four bays: sashes with glazing bars, and tall double keystones: ground floor openings also have jambs and voussoirs alternately plain and moulded. Of these, 2 are doors each with 6 moulded panels and oblong fanlight with glazing bars; but front door also has segment-shaped ashlar hood suspended by cast iron braces. Four flat-topped attic dormers, with moulded cornices and angle pilasters. Red brick stacks with modillioned ashlar cornices. Two cast iron downpipes with large shaped rainwater heads.
