House, now a farm-store. Mid C18. Painted dressed sandstone, with red
sandstone to rear. C20 tile roof. Centre block 3 storeys, 3 bays,
flanked by 2-storey, 2-bay wings. C20 half-glazed door in wood surround
to left of centre block under keyed lintel. All windows in centre block
are C20 wooden casements apart from first floor left which is a 12-pane
sash. Wing to left has 12-pane sashes with unequally hung 9-pane sashes
over. Right wing is all C20 casements. All windows have projecting
sills and keystones. Central roof pyramid form with cruciform brick
stack in centre. Lower flanking roofs hipped, with end brick stacks.
Rear:shallow segmental arches to original window openings. Interior:
central stair well with balustrade of C18 type survives complete to
first and second floor.
