Drinking fountain. Dated 1897. Ashlar with bronze and iron. Semicircular
bowl, tap and bronze plaque framed by scalloped and foliated brackets
supporting round arch with inscription 'She wrought her People Lasting
Good'. All under pointed gabled coping. The plaque bears a profile of
Queen Victoria, the dates 1837 and 1897 and is signed 'F. J. Williamson'.
It was erected in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
